1.      Mix 500g Khaman Mix with 750 ml water until smooth. (Optional: Add chopped green chili & ginger.)

2.      Preheat a cooker with a 2-inch ring inside for 2 minutes on high flame.

3.      Grease an aluminum container and pour in the batter.

4.      Place the container inside the cooker (without whistle/weight).

5.      Steam for 15–20 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before unmolding.

Fried Khaman (Optional Tadka):

1.      Heat 40 ml oil, add mustard seeds and chopped green chilies.

2.      Pour the tempering over steamed Khaman.

3.      Cut into pieces and garnish with coriander, grated coconut, or cheese.

4.      Serve with green chutney.

Microwave Method:

1.      Mix 500g mix with 750 ml water.

2.      Grease a Borosil bowl and pour in the batter.

3.      Microwave on high for 5–8 minutes until cooked.
